BAKERSFIELD PAL FACILITY

The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) has at its facility a state of the art regulation basketball court, 2 reduced sized basketball courts, 2 regulation volleyball courts on 8100 square feet of sport court flooring. Our Gymnasium was recently dedicated to Mr. Bob Karpe of Karpe Real Estate, whose endless service to BPAL has made our facility possible.

The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) also has at its facility a state of the art 6 acres of irrigated grass playing fields. The fields can be used for soccer, football, baseball, or any other field sport. Our field was recently dedicated to Mr. Jim Burke of Jim Burke Ford, whose continued dedication to BPAL has made our facility what it is today.
W E I G H T R O O M
The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) has a newly renovated and remodeled weight room. The new equipment was purchased at ProMaxima and consist of machine and free weight stations. In addition to the weight equipment, functional training equipment such as medicine balls, stability balls, and rubber bands were purchased. The functional equipment is utilized for our younger participants while the weight equipment is used for children over 14 years old.
B O X I N G G Y M
The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) has a well known boxing gym of 3150 square feet. The boxing gym contains 2 permanent rings, and all of the necessary training apparatus of a professional gym. BPAL also owns a portable ring that is set up for 4 to 5 tournaments per year in our Bob Karpe gymnasium. Be sure to check our calendar for all upcoming boxing tournaments.
G A M E R O O M
The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) has an interactive game room of 2516 square feet. Our game room consist of 4 computer stations, 72 inch wide screen TV, a Nintendo and Sony PlayStation area, pool table, air hockey table, arcade games, a display board for our students of the month, and much more.
C L A S S R O O M B U I L D I N G
The Bakersfield Police Activities League (BPAL) has a newly built classroom building located directly outside the gymnasium. Our classroom building consist of 11 computer stations, a library section, television and video educational instruments, and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere so our BPAL youth can get the most out of their tutoring needs.
We carry a strict NO alcohol and drug policy for any type of event on BPAL property.
